An iconic Paul R Williams building need the help of our members, friends, community and those who simply love the legacy left behind by one of the great Architects of Black Modernism.
Designed by renown Paul R Williams in 1958 as a special commission by our founder, Ernest S Holmes. This building has the added legacy of demonstrating what unity between all peoples can bring about.
Dedicated January 3, 1960, Founder’s building was designated Los Angeles Historic and Cultural Landmark #727 on February 3, 2020. With the building still housing his original blueprints today in 2026.
We are currently faced with numerous repairs and required updates, which are stretching our currently capability. Therefore, we are asking for assistance to help us continue to steward this magnificent structure.

The building houses the original Centre for Spiritual Living center, Founders, and we would like to keep it that way. Inn 2025, we won an amazing $150K Planning Grant, courtesy of The National Trust, in conjunction with The Getty Foundation. However, as wonderful as that is. It has now made apparent; just how much we have to undertake or face the risk of losing the building.

Every Wednesday between 10am - 2pm, our doors are open to all who may the services of clothes, shoes hygiene goods and a hot meal.
We also offer referrals to further services should there be a need. Such as temporary housing, mental health services, and employment programs.

Founders Community Outreach Organization (F.C.O.C.), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is deeply heartbroken by the devastating fires that have impacted countless lives across Los Angeles.
Our prayers go out to the victims, their families, friends and members of our own community, and all those affected by this tragedy. We hold them in our hearts and stand united in our commitment to offer hope, healing, and tangible support during this time of great need.
In response, F.C.O.C. is now accepting donations to provide essential relief supplies to shelters across Los Angeles. Every contribution, whether monetary or material, will help us deliver much-needed aid to those who have lost so much.

Founder's Youth Art's Programs
Our inspiring Youth Art's Program's are ongoing creative venture's that spearheads the production of theatrical plays, musical events and arts festivals for children aged 6 - 18 years.
Our programs encourage our clients to make meaningful connections to art and one another through a range of creative experiences. art workshops are facilitated on-site and online to assist those that we work with to reach their potential.
Our goals are driven through our passion to empower and support the underserved communities of LA. Communities who through the programs we offer, are able to experience healing, growth and success through artistic expression. Many of our service members are children living in Foster Homes, attending schools with restricted arts programs or live within family units that are unable to access resources for additional educational elements of expression.
Our Director produces a calendar of activities throughout the year. These are paid for event's, which are advertised in advance for ticket sales. Please see our "What's On Page"
